 LLAGNY has long been committed to assisting its members in achieving their professional goals. LLAGNY members support their colleagues through grants to enhance learning and career advancement.  

The scholarship and grant application period has begun.

If you are interested in the scholarships or grants listed on this page, please email your completed application to [email protected] by no later than 5:00 pm on April 30, 2018.

Conference Grants

● AALL Conference Grant: Up to $2,300.00   
o The event takes place in July in Baltimore, Maryland.

● AALL & PLL Conference Grant: Up to $2,600.00
o Event takes place in July; the PLL Summit precedes the AALL Conference.

One member will receive a grant to cover the costs of attendance at the AALL Conference.  One member will receive a grant to cover the costs of attendance at both the AALL Conference and the PLL Summit.

Library School Scholarships

● New Student (Type One) Scholarship: $2,000.00   
o One scholarship of this type will be given to one student this year.

● Experienced Student (Type Two) Scholarship: $2,500.00
o One scholarship of this type will be given to one student this year.
