WelcomeWelcome to the official website of LLAGNY, the Law Library Association of Greater New York. We are an association of information and knowledge professionals, dedicated in service to law libraries, legal knowledge management centers, the profession of law, and the legal community in New York City and its metropolitan area. Our membership ranks are drawn from law firms, academic institutions, courts, bar associations, corporate law offices, and the vendors who provide products and services to the legal profession. This website will guide you through the work of the board, various committees, and upcoming educational and networking events. Join UsConsidering becoming more involved with the law librarian community? Then join LLAGNY! We have a variety of networking events as well as educational events and programs. We especially encourage students to join LLAGNY – there’s no reason not to. LLAGNY membership is now free for students. Further, for students specifically, the Fall Soiree is also free and is an event to welcome new members – and two of our scholarships are for library school students. For regular members, there are plenty of benefits too – from networking to CLE training, and much more. Reach out to us today if you have any questions, and we hope to see you at the next event! Note: The membership term is based on LLAGNY's fiscal year, which runs from July 1st to June 30th, rather than from the anniversary of the date an individual joins the association, therefore membership dues cannot be pro-rated if submitted later in the membership year.
